We are very proud of our excellent reputation, and once again we have planned an exciting curriculum for the youngsters and adult students alike, with a number of new offerings. There will be many inspiring activities, opportunities and events to mark this year.

Central Park Dance, with over 150 classes a week to choose  from, has expanded their children and adult's programs which offer Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap,  Hip Hop,  Belly Dance,  PreSchool,  Tot & I,  Acting,  Voice,  Fitness, Fairytale Ballet,  Kickboxing,  Zumba, Theatre and Hip Hop Workshop. Each area has an extensive curriculum with a wide range of levels enabling students to be placed in a suitable class. Each class enrollment is limited and some are taught by two experience instructors insuring the proper teacher student ratio.

Superior teaching is the key to the high quality program that Central Park Dance offers. Maria Bai is the Artistic Director and Mario Lastrada is the Director of Operations of this establishment. Mrs. Bai has 29 years of teaching experience to her credit. It is our goal to challenge, motivate and inspire, raising each individual dancer's aspirations to new heights! In addition, we promise to maintain a supportive atmosphere while upholding our reputation for fairness and constructive education. Maria has developed and redifined a dance syllabus that responds to every age, ability and commitment level for students studying Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Tap. Her program enables all students to work technically safe in a stimulating environment.

After all these years at Central Park Dance Mario Lastrada's first and foremost goal is to have the best program to meet the needs and desires of each student by constantly reconfiguring the type of classes offered, continuously introducing new classes, and providing impeccable customer service. All of these improvements are made with you in mind.

Maria and Mario are a team as well as a family. With your participation, our Central Park Dance team and family continue to grow ever stronger. 

Central Park Dance offers a unique, exhilirating performing arts camp for ages 3-4, 4.5,-5.5, 6-7, 8-10 & 11-17, as well as an intensive pre-professional young adult program. In an invigorating atmosphere, students are exposed to all aspects of the performing arts by concentrating on musical that is performed at the end of the term. Students participate in all phases of the production form costume selections and programs to making their own scenery and rehearsing the acting and dance pieces. They attend daily classes in ballet, pointe, technique, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, musical theatre, yoga, acting, voice and production study. Some of the highlights of the program are seminars and specials guest speakers. Another popular activity is a class trip to see a Broadway show.

Under the artistic direction of Maria Bai who is accompanied by an extremely talented and generous staff of teacher, students will recieve personal attention in a nurturing environment. A Central Park Dance summer is sure to be stimulatimg and enlighting experience for your children allowing them to indulge their creativity and gain the confidence in seeing their work produced. 

Miss Talia's Boutique is on-premises and carries an enormous collection of dancewear, bodywear, footware and gymnastics attire; selected for durability, style, comfort and affordability.

Central Park Dance students get a 10% discount on non-sale dancewear and footwear. 

Dancewear must be worn for ALL dance classes. ALL ballet classes (except PreSchool, PreBallet and Ballet I) require theatrical pink tights and a black leotard.

Ballet I (6-7) requires theatrical pink tights and any color leotard.

ALL Ballet students are required to wear their hair up and off their faces in a ballet bun.

No T-shirts, boxers shorts or loose clothing of any kind are to be worn in any dance class, except in Hip Hop and Jazz Funk.
